A mining adventure

Tie two sticks together and what do you get? A pick axe, of course... So off on an adventure we went. The boards nailed to a stump are his crafting table, in case you were wondering...

We decided an evil miner must have spilled some grass growing potion in this strange arc shape.

Then we mined around the creek, took over the evil miners camp then stole their horses, then ran for our lives.

We hit the jackpot during our mining since we found rubies, emeralds, diamonds, sapphires. We ran across a few friendly zombies, endermans and creepers. Whew, tough day!

Happy 'beach day' (school) Friday!

It's Friday. It's going to be 76 degrees today. It's beach day at school (swim goggles in backpack). For LAD everyday is a full color day!!! Happy Friday!

Grilling with an almost wolf scout

Lads last task before becoming a Wolf scout... Assist with planning and cooking a meal on the grill. His menu... Chicken legs, hotdogs, coke ( that was for me)... Then later he added bacon. I said what about a vege... No vege... Ok then double fruit. He was good with that. He shopped and helped with everything. Now we're chillin in the backyard by the fire! And Peeps for dessert.
