Presents! -- Catching raindrops

Rain! Sprinkles ran off the corner of the hangar door, and LAD caught them. Adding them to the rain gauge, he got us up to 5 inches of rain in a half hour. Now, that's the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, right?

LAD's mommy came home from her trip this afternoon. LAD had presents for her. Another pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

On duty!

New airport manager, he has all the tools ... radio-phone, magnifier, calculator, fancy hat, airplane magazines, bike helmet, paper and pen... on the JOB. Oh yeah, the snakes are his pets.

Random from our week

Chocolate chip/M&M cookies from Subway, they're the best!!!

There's a boy in there somewhere!

Can you tell he's a fan!!!

They had a couple of swimming in the back yard days at day care.

Move more.

Downpour on the drive home...

Picnic at the park with daycare. He was excited to take his lunch.

I got caught with my paints out, and he of course had to join in. He was naked. I was not.

Saturday, we went for the big playground, but got distracted by the sandy beach and a lost cup.

And ran into a daycare classmate, so that was another hour of entertainment.

The 4th on the 3rd

LAD rode his bike up town for breakfast at the fire station, then we're ready for the parade!

Ready to start!

Candy bag is ready!

My coworker Marce owns this car and it's her dad and daughter driving/riding in it.

Not much more American than everything in this picture!

No idea what this thing does, but it was impressive. A Ditch Witch tool.

We got a little shower from these guys!

Wow, that's loud!

Fireworks at 10:00. LAD was very excited to go. Held his hands over his ears the whole time, then fell asleep about half way thru. It was a no-nap day!

Hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th. We had a rainy one, but a rainbow at the end of the day today!
