Since yesterday we got about 7 1/2 inches of snow. LAD and I stayed home, the roads eventually were passable, but the winds picked up, so we hunkered down, mostly.
I managed to get the driveway cleared. Only broke the winch on the 4 wheeler and plow less than a dozen times. And today, I did not hit the mailbox. That was last Saturday when we got 3 inches. So far, the snow plow has only taken it out once this season, and that was back in early December. We've a lot of the season to go though...
LAD wanted to go sledding, so we hooked 'er up and 'round and 'round we went.
After we froze out from what seemed like 10 dozen trips around the house, LAD decided to build a snow man. He filled his sled on the west side of the yard and drug it to the east side of the yard, for some reason, and dumped it out.
Oh well, kept him busy for thirty minutes while I shoveled part of the drive again. Then I had to haul the sled full of snow...
Then I had to fill it.
"Get your snow cones here! Plain and rock and twig"...quoted from Disney's "The Prince and The Pauper" book.
And so we ended up with more of a snow pile than a snow man!
