"Cutting is hard work."
Approval?
On to bigger things.
Who needs prissy ol dolls anyhow.
Rain, today it's rain. It might be a blessing or a curse. Not sure yet; to be determined. One bonus, the temps are mid thirties, for now...
There's a sidewalk under there somewhere!
Our ice lasted about three days. Thursday brought a little melting that refroze as drips! The sun never came out in any of these three days. It would have been a dazzling show if it had. These were shot around ISU campus.
Refroze drips.
Today we had a stay-home day due to about 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ice. We were very lucky to not lose power so far (knock on wood). When you step outside it sure sounds creaky with all the ice covered trees. We've lost some small branches, but nothing major so far.
And a little elf who would rather play in the laundry basket than anything else. Especially if Daddy will swing him around in it.
Snow by the feet, blizzards, freezing fog, now ice. What does Mother Nature have left to throw at us? Guess we will soon find out!
For the last week or so, before today's wonderful ice storm, we've been having fog. Lots of it. Some of it the freezing variety. This is actually my favorite winter weather phenomenon. It makes everything all ghosty white.
Even the icicles are not immune.
Better to have an outlined target.
I'm with this guy:
This was Sunday. This boy is confused! He was ready to go "diving into the snow".
Some readers may recognize this location. Roger's (crop duster strip) taxi way. He has been very efficient at clearing all his snow. He has nice big green machines to do the job right! Nothing flying around here, but there is here.
