We went for pumpkins but got apples instead!

Weekend before last we went to the Berry Patch Farm where we had gone last year to pick pumpkins. We hopped on the hay wagon and rode out to the field, but turns out, they didn't plant pumpkins this year, to wet! So, we picked apples instead. LAD had a large time and put on a few miles, so it was all the same to him! He had to have a little help reaching the "good ones"! The ones we picked were Honeycrisp variety. They were delicious!

Then a couple days later we made Apple Crisp and I had lots of good help!

And a few days later, we peeled all the apples and put them into the freezer and LAD was right there, peeling every one!

Yummy yummy! Honeycrisp are delicious (your pic makes it look like I could reach right out and grab one).
We were at the Berry Patch a couple weeks ago and picked some Chieftains...also yum yum. I like an apple with a little "bite" to it.
